Nora answers on the first ring, asks the practical questions, finds today's gaps in your calendar and books by your rules for urgent slots. The patient gets an SMS. Nora
Welcome to The Back Clinic (demo). You're speaking with Nora. How can I help you?
Patient
Hi, my back went into spasm this morning. Can I come in today?
Nora
We'll find you a slot. Are you already a patient with us, or is it your first time?
Patient
I've been with you before. It's Mette Krogh.
Nora
Thank you, Mette. One moment — the clinic has an urgent slot today at 13:15 and one at 15:45. Which suits you best?
Patient
13:15, please.
Nora
Then 13:15 is reserved for you. You'll get an SMS on the number you're calling from — confirm there, and the slot is yours.

🔍 The challenges

What the phone costs a chiropractic clinic

Five situations we see again and again at chiropractors — and which Nora takes from day one.

The phone rings in the middle of a treatment

A chiropractor cannot let go of the patient on the table to take a call. Every ring costs concentration, and the patient in front of you notices that your attention is divided. Many clinics just let it ring — and lose the call.

✓ Nora answers on the first ring, every time, without the treatment being interrupted.

Urgent patients call the next clinic

Someone whose back has locked wants an appointment today. If he gets the answering machine, he calls the next clinic on the list and may well stay there. The urgent patient is often the most loyal — if somebody answers.

✓ Nora books urgent slots by your rules for when and for whom.

Gaps in the calendar nobody fills

A cancellation at 9 leaves an empty quarter of an hour at 13, unless somebody takes the call that could fill it. The front desk has no time to ring round, and the gap stays as lost treatment time.

✓ Nora offers the free slot to the next caller asking about the same day.

Moves and cancellations fill the front desk

A large share of the calls are not about anything new but about moving the old: a patient who cannot make it, another who wants to come earlier. It is routine that steals time from the patient standing at the desk.

✓ Nora moves and cancels appointments herself — the patient confirms the new slot by SMS.

The back locks up on Sunday evening

The decision to book is made when the pain is there — rarely during opening hours. Clinics with nobody on the line in the evening lose those calls to walk-in clinics and competitors who happen to answer.

✓ Nora answers the phone around the clock and books the first slot you have opened.

📞 The process

How Nora answers the phone in your clinic

Nora is not an answering machine with AI on top. She knows your treatments, your urgent-slot rules and your calendar.

Nora learns the clinic

At setup you tell us about treatment types and durations, who takes urgent patients, opening hours and how you want her to sound. The rules for urgent slots are yours — Nora follows them, she does not invent her own.

She takes the call

New or existing patient? What is the appointment about, and when does it suit? Nora asks the questions you have given her, finds the first free slot or the urgent gap in your calendar and sends an SMS confirmation to the patient straight away.

You see everything — and are only disturbed when it matters

Bookings land in your calendar, messages in your back office with the patient's name and reason. If a patient wants to speak to a practitioner right away, Nora passes the call on by your rules — otherwise she takes a precise message.

⚙️ Features

Everything a chiropractic clinic needs on the phone

Urgent slots by your rules

You decide what an urgent slot is, who takes it and where in the calendar it sits. Nora books accordingly — she never assesses the patient's back herself.

Booking directly in your calendar

First free slot, urgent gaps and regular follow-ups with the durations your treatments have. Nothing double-booked, nothing forgotten.

SMS confirmation and reminder

The patient confirms the appointment with one tap and is reminded the day before. Fewer no-shows and fewer empty quarter-hours in the plan.

Moves and cancellations without you

Nora moves appointments and frees up gaps so other patients can have them — the front desk is spared the routine.

Over 30 languages

Nora answers in the caller's language and switches by herself when the caller does.

Messages and call transfer

What she is not meant to solve herself becomes a precise message with name, number and reason — or is passed on to you right away.

Fixed price — no minutes, no surprises

Questions from chiropractors

Does Nora decide who gets an urgent slot?

No, the clinic does. You tell us what an urgent slot is, who takes it and where in the calendar it sits — and Nora books accordingly. She asks the practical things: new or existing patient, and when it suits. She never assesses the patient's back herself; that is the practitioner's job.

Can Nora fill a gap when a patient cancels?

Yes. When a slot is freed up, she offers it to the next caller asking about the same day, instead of leaving the quarter of an hour empty. She can also move a patient who would like to come earlier, if you have opened for that — the new slot is always confirmed by SMS first.

Can Nora book in the calendar system the clinic already uses?

Nora books directly in your Google Calendar today, so urgent slots and regular follow-ups sit where the clinic already looks. More integrations are under way — ask about yours at the demo and you will hear where things stand. Treatment types and durations we enter before she takes the first call.

What does Nora note about the patients?

Only what it takes to book the appointment or take a message: name, phone number and what the enquiry concerns. She never goes further than you have asked her to, and all data is processed in the EU. What the patient says about his pain does not become a record on the phone.
