Problems we see at physiotherapists
Six things that cost the clinic appointments — and how Nora takes them from day one.
You are treating when they call
A physiotherapist cannot interrupt a treatment to answer the phone. The patient moves on to the next clinic on the list. Your hands are on the patient's shoulder and the receiver is at the other end of the room — that call is never taken.
✓ Nora answers straight away — even when every practitioner is busy.
The pain does not wait until 8 am
The back locks up on Sunday evening, and the decision to book is made right there. By Monday morning another clinic has already taken the call. A clinic where the phone is first answered at 8 loses the patients who need an appointment most.
✓ Nora books 24/7, also outside opening hours.
Cancellations and moves eat the front desk
Many calls are not about anything new, but about moving the old. One patient cannot make Wednesday, another wants to come earlier, a third needs her whole course pushed back a week. It is routine that takes the entire morning.
✓ Nora moves and cancels appointments — the patient confirms by SMS.
Unanswered calls do not become patients
The one who gets no answer rarely calls back. He has found the number of a nearby clinic before the receiver is down. An unanswered call looks like nothing in the statistics, but it was a patient who wanted to book.
✓ Every call is answered, and nothing is lost.
Patients in other languages
Tourists and international residents give up when they cannot explain themselves. A patient who has to describe a pain in the shoulder in a language he is not comfortable with hangs up and tries somewhere else. Language must not decide whether he gets an appointment.
✓ Nora speaks over 30 languages.
The message never arrives
Sticky notes and half-written phone notes disappear. A remark that the patient should come in training clothes or is bringing a referral only has value if it is on the appointment. On a note by the phone it is gone before the patient walks through the door.
✓ Nora writes the remark on the appointment, so it is in the calendar.
From call to confirmed booking
Nora knows your treatment types, your durations and your calendar — and she never assesses an injury herself.
The patient calls
Nora answers the phone 24/7 — also outside opening hours. She introduces herself with the clinic's name, says she is an AI receptionist and asks whether the patient has been with you before. Nobody is put on hold, and nobody meets an answering machine.
Nora understands and finds the slot
Nora understands the reason and proposes a free slot in your calendar. She books with the duration your treatments have and follows your rules for who takes new patients and when there is room for an urgent slot. She never assesses the injury herself.
The patient confirms by SMS
Nothing changes in the calendar until the patient confirms by SMS. The patient sees time, address and the practitioner's name on screen and says yes with one tap. Only then is the appointment in the calendar, and the remark about the reason is on it, ready for the practitioner.
Everything your clinic needs
Calendar booking
Nora books directly in your Google Calendar today — more integrations on the way, ask at the demo. Appointments are entered with the duration the treatment has, so a first visit is not squeezed into a quarter of an hour.
Over 30 languages
Nora answers in the caller's language and switches by herself when the caller does. A patient who has to describe where it hurts can do so in his own language from the first sentence.
SMS confirmation with a swipe
Nothing changes in your calendar until the patient has confirmed by SMS. The patient sees time and practitioner on screen and says yes with one tap — so there is never an appointment nobody has confirmed.
GDPR first
Built in Denmark, hosted in the EU. Personal data on a booking is wiped once the order is completed. Nora notes name, number and what the appointment concerns — she never asks for medical records, and what the patient volunteers is not stored.
Your rules for urgent cases
Nora follows your instructions for urgent enquiries and takes a precise message the staff see immediately. The line between urgent and ordinary is yours to draw — Nora never assesses an injury herself.
Reports
See what Nora has answered, booked and caught outside opening hours. The report shows evening and weekend calls separately, so you can see when the phone actually rings.
Fixed price — no minutes, no surprises
- All calls, around the clock, incl. weekends and public holidays
- Setup, calendar and SMS included
- Cancel month to month
Questions from physiotherapists
Can Nora judge whether a patient needs to be seen urgently?
No. She follows your instructions for urgent enquiries and takes a precise message the staff see immediately. The line between urgent and ordinary is drawn by the clinic, not by Nora. She asks the practical things — new or existing patient, when it suits — and then books in your calendar.
Can Nora move a whole course of treatment?
She moves the appointments the patient asks about, one at a time, and confirms each new one by SMS. If a whole course needs shifting, she takes it as a message to the clinic with name, number and which appointments it concerns, so you can rearrange it without the patient having to call again.
Does Nora book in the clinic's own calendar system?
Nora books directly in your Google Calendar today, so the appointment sits with the right practitioner in the calendar the clinic already uses. More integrations are on the way; ask about your own system at the demo and you will get an honest answer. Treatment types and durations we set up together with you.
How quickly can Nora take the clinic's phone?
It typically takes 48 hours before she can answer in the clinic's name. We set up your treatment types, opening hours, emergency instructions and greeting together with you, and you hear a test call before she goes live. If a phrase sounds wrong to a physiotherapist, we correct it straight away.
