Problems we see at vets
Six calls the vet clinic knows all too well — and what happens to them now.
The worry calls in the evening
Animals fall ill outside opening hours, and the owner acts at once. A dog that vomits at nine in the evening makes the owner call immediately — and if nobody answers, the call ends up with the next clinic in the search results.
✓ Nora answers 24/7 and books the next available slot.
The front desk has its hands full
Waiting room, payment and phone all at once. A cat in a carrier, a dog that will not stand still and an owner who needs to pay all demand hands. The phone keeps ringing meanwhile, and the caller cannot hear how busy it is.
✓ Nora takes the calls, so the staff can take the animals.
Urgent, or can it wait?
Owners need a calm answer straight away. They do not know whether a limping dog can wait until tomorrow, and they would rather not drive in for nothing. A calm answer about what to do now is often what they are calling for.
✓ Nora gives your on-call number, takes a precise message — and never plays vet herself.
Check-ups and vaccinations need rebooking
Many calls are routine that steals time. The yearly vaccination, a check-up after surgery and an appointment that needs moving fill the line at the very moments a sick cat needs to get through. Each takes two minutes, and there are thirty a day.
✓ Nora books, moves and cancels — the owner confirms by SMS.
"Do you speak my language?"
International owners must be able to book too. A family that has just moved here with a dog must be able to explain what is wrong without searching for the words. If they cannot, they find a clinic where someone answers in their language.
✓ Nora speaks over 30 languages.
The details about the animal disappear
Breed, age, symptoms — all of it needs to come along. The vet needs to know whether it is a young cat or an old dog, and what the owner has seen, before the consultation begins. If it is not on the appointment, the first minutes go on asking again.
✓ Nora writes the remark on the appointment, so it is in the calendar.
From call to confirmed booking
Nora knows your consultation types, your on-call arrangement and your opening hours — and she never plays vet herself.
The owner calls
Nora answers the phone 24/7 — also outside opening hours. She introduces herself with the clinic's name, says she is an AI receptionist and asks which animal it concerns and whether the owner has been with you before. No owner is put on hold.
Nora understands and finds the slot
Nora understands the reason and proposes a free slot in your calendar. She books the consultation with the duration your appointment types have, and notes breed, age and what the owner describes — as a remark, not an assessment. The assessment belongs with the vet.
The owner confirms by SMS
Nothing changes in the calendar until the owner confirms by SMS. The owner sees time and address on screen and says yes with one tap. Only then is the consultation in the calendar, with the animal's details on the appointment, so the clinic knows what is coming through the door.
Everything your vet clinic needs
Calendar booking
Nora books directly in your Google Calendar today — more integrations on the way, ask at the demo. Consultations are entered with the duration your appointment types have — a vaccination, a check-up and a first visit do not take the same time.
Over 30 languages
Nora answers in the caller's language and switches by herself when the caller does. An owner who does not speak the local language can explain what is wrong with the dog and get an appointment without searching for the words.
SMS confirmation with a swipe
Nothing changes in your calendar until the owner has confirmed by SMS. The owner sees time and address on screen and says yes with one tap — so there is never a consultation nobody has confirmed.
GDPR first
Built in Denmark, hosted in the EU. Personal data on a booking is wiped once the order is completed. Nora notes the owner's name and number and what the appointment concerns — she does not touch the animal's records, and she never asks for more.
On-call number and urgent messages
Outside opening hours Nora gives your emergency number and takes a precise message. The non-urgent ones she books into the next available slot. You decide what is urgent; Nora never plays vet on the phone.

Questions from vets
Can Nora judge whether an animal needs to be seen urgently?
No, and that is deliberate. She follows your on-call arrangement: if the enquiry is on the list of what you have called urgent, she gives the on-call number or passes the call on. Otherwise she books the next available consultation. She notes breed, age and what the owner describes as a remark — never as an assessment.
Can Nora tell a vaccination from an appointment for a sick animal?
Yes, because you have told her which appointment types the clinic has and how long each of them takes. She asks what the visit concerns and books in the right track, so a vaccination does not occupy a consultation slot. Check-ups after surgery she enters by your rules.
What if the owner wants to speak to someone at the clinic?
Nora passes the call on by the rules you have given her — you decide when the staff may be disturbed and when they have an animal on the table. If nobody is free, she takes a precise message: the owner's name and number, the animal's name and the reason, so you can call back without asking everything again.
How quickly can Nora answer the clinic's phone?
It usually takes 48 hours from when we start until she can take the phone. We set up your appointment types, opening hours, on-call arrangement and greeting together with you, and you listen to her before she is put on the number. If anything sounds wrong to a vet's ear, we fix it first.
